House of Culture
The House of Culture in the village of Cârnățeni is the main center of cultural and artistic activities in the locality, with a capacity of 420 seats. The building was put into operation in 1970 and underwent significant renovation in 2012 with the support of the state and district budgets, with the investment amounting to 450 thousand lei.
The institution is equipped with audiovisual technical means, an efficient heating system, and modern furniture, ensuring optimal conditions for cultural events. The House of Culture annually hosts numerous events dedicated to traditional holidays and folk culture, serving as a reference space for the community.
A special event organized here is the village feast, celebrated on November 21st in honor of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel, a tradition deeply respected by the locals. Although cultural activity is intense and appreciated, the organization of events depends on financial resources that are often insufficient.
