Cârnățeni

The Theoretical High School 'Grigore Grigoriu' in the village of Cârnățeni is the main secondary education institution in the locality, with a capacity of 620 seats. The school building was put into operation in 1989 and currently hosts 391 students. The educational process takes place in a single shift, between 07:30 and 14:30.

The institution has 21 classrooms, a sports hall, a dining hall, and a room equipped with 12 computers. The educational activity is ensured by a team of 33 teachers, of whom 26 have higher education and 7 have specialized secondary education. The average age of the teaching staff is 48 years, and 22 teachers hold first and second-level teaching degrees.

The high school records a pass rate of 95% and an education quality level of 41%. Additionally, the institution offers extracurricular opportunities through three sports sections and five interest groups, attended by 120 students. Among the sports activities, the most popular are basketball and tennis.

The majority of graduates continue their studies at higher education institutions in the country, and their number has been increasing in recent years, thus confirming the efficiency of the educational process conducted within the high school.
