Cârnățeni

The Theoretical High School with an Arts Profile 'Grigore Grigoriu' in Cîrnățeni, the only institution of its kind in the region, needs our support! Within the project 'Repair of access roads to IP Theoretical High School with an Arts Profile “Grigore Grigoriu”', funded by the European Union through the 'Confidence-Building Measures' program, funds were obtained for paving the access roads to the high school. However, for the rehabilitation of the perimeter fence, built in 1989, resources were insufficient.

Today, this fence is degraded, rusty, and unstable, endangering the safety of the 370 students who study here daily – including 12 children with special educational needs. The institution gathers students from 51 localities across the country and annually organizes sports tournaments and cultural activities that contribute to inclusion and trust among youth on both sides of the Dniester River.

To complete the work, 50,000 lei are needed — an amount that can be collected through the contribution of every well-intentioned person. Every amount counts! Whether you are parents, teachers, alumni, village residents, or natives who have gone abroad — we invite you to be part of this change.

The village of Cîrnățeni is a beneficiary of the EU Program 'Confidence-Building Measures', implemented by UNDP through the initiative 'Support for the Development of Local Communities on Both Banks of the Nistru River'.
